I know I say it every month, BUT THIS WAS A BEAUTIFUL & GREAT MONTH!
We saw Matt’s Uncle Doug, his BFF from College and spent a few weeks with his Mama Donna. We met Matt’s Great Aunt Marcy’s family, and got to watch a Sounder’s Soccer game with Kevin, a really nice guy that Matt met a couple years ago playing poker. Funny how things work out! We also got to spend some time with my amazing Bro Derrick & my Some-Day-Sister-In-Law Megan. <3
The month was amazingly beautiful too because Summer and Autumn were clashing and the weather bounced from hot and sunny to chilly and grey. We saw (and had time to notice) the very first of leaves changing colors and floating down from their summer branches. I had a moment near Donna’s house where the wind blew so hard and beautifully that I felt like I was in a fairy wonderland with all the tiny yellow leaves floating down around me. It all felt very slow-mo and very romantic. It re-newed my love affair with Fall.

every time i read your emails and see your photos i think it is the most beautiful place in the world. and then you go to another place and IT is the most beautiful place in the world. we truly are blessed with such a gorgeous country. i am happy you are able to see these places in person. continue to write to us. katherine
